The Professional Automotive Training (PAT) program was developed in two tiers: 3-month job training and a 6-month career track.
The PAT Automotive Technology curriculum is modeled in part after automotive programs offered at nationally recognized colleges and trade schools. The program will follow the prescribed level of skill building as required by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF).
The PAT Certificate will provide:
- Students with training in automotive areas that require schedule inspections and maintenance.
- Braking system
- Steering and Suspension systems
- Air conditioning and heating
- Electrical Systems and Power Accessories
